I want to make a 2d pokemon fangame from scratch, because of course I do. It would be a single map massive open world island representing australia, have pokemon levels not based on location but on distance from roads, have gyms that can be battled in any order, a villainous team based on technological improvement, custom legendaries based on australian mythology, on and on. The problem here is, even if I managed to make a monstrosity like this, I'd be kicked in the teeth by Nintendo. What kind of MS would even exist for this?
