I wanted to make a massive FPS where you play as recipients of awards of valour throughout history; medal of honor, victoria cross, iron cross, etc. I had this big framing device that suddenly seemed derivative when Assassins Creed 1 came out(yes the idea is that old). The idea was 24 missions where you play the moments where people earnt their commendation. I even reached out to the families and representatives of estate for each of the recipients I wanted to use to ask if it was okay. Somewhat cringe in hindsight given I didn't end up following through.

MS: Just, one level. Just represent one person.  Even that might be asking too much. This might just be something I'm cursed with forever.
